The White Project : Inspiration stemmed from the broad topic of "lovers" After analyzing modern marriages versus funerals and the many similarities a quote from an essay i wrote was the true inspiration for the project: "The Dress that took five months to find eight to pay off lives the life of a fruit fly short and insignificant."

From there I drew inspiration from the wing and body structures of fruit flies. A first glance the dress is very beautiful but upon further examination one will find the model to be trapped - unable to put her arms down with her legs bound together as many women are "bound" to their husband.
